Graduate Teaching Assistant - Primary School in Chichester
Whether you're about to graduate and want to get into teaching, or you're looking for a new way to utilise your existing degree, becoming a graduate teaching assistant might just be the role for you.
About the role: This school located in close proximity to Chichester train station is an inclusive school with a strong, caring, pastoral structure which underpins an inspiring curriculum. The school seeks to develop the potential of every child in all subjects. Staff care deeply for the children and are skilled in planning to meet their individual needs, both personally and academically. They believe that building good relationships is the key to the success of the children and staff. This is a Full time Key Stage 1 role and the school is looking to recruit from May 2024.
Assisting in the delivery of effective teaching on a one-to-one basis or in small groups
Helping with the planning and delivery of lessons
Supporting pupils in relation to their educational and behavioural development
Preparing classroom resources
Providing feedback to teachers and parents
Helping with extracurricular activities (e.g. revision sessions)
