A prestigious, award-winning Special Educational Needs (SEN) School located in the serene and picturesque area of Torton, Kidderminster, is inviting applications for the position of Level 2 Learning Support Assistants.

SEN Teaching Assistant
Start: September or sooner
Location: Torton, Kidderminster
Salary: £20,941.30 - £22,835.30 actual salary
Hours: 40 hours per week - Term Time Only
Contract: Permanent

Key Responsibilities:
*Provide tailored support to students with SEN, under the guidance of the classroom teacher and SEN coordinators.
*Assist in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
*Facilitate small group activities and one-to-one support sessions.
*Monitor and record student progress, contributing to assessment reports.
*Help create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.
*Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to enhance student learning and wellbeing.

Requirements:
*NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or a related field.
*Proven experience in a similar role within an SEN setting.
*A strong understanding of the needs of students with a range of SEN conditions.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with students, staff, and parents.
*Commitment to the school's ethos and ongoing professional development.
*Flexibility and creativity in supporting educational and therapeutic activities.
*Enhanced DBS check or willingness to undergo this procedure.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
