Job description
Role:
Position: Learning Support Assistant- SEMH
Hours: 8am - 4pm Mon-Fri

Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing learning materials and organising classroom activities.
- Provide hands-on support and supervision.
- Foster individual development and engagement with the world.
- Adapt to various classroom roles, indoors and outdoors, based on individual requirements.
- Lead activities, facilitate outdoor experiences, and ensure safety during exploratory outings.
- Assist the classroom teacher in running exciting lessons & maintaining a clean and safe classroom.
Requirements:
- Experience in executing planned activities aligned with pupil interests and curriculum (desirable).
- Strong teamwork skills, coupled with the ability to share ideas and collaborate effectively.
- Passion for working with neurodiverse pupils, particularly those with SEMH.
- Experience working with young people with SEMH is desirable.
