Part-time Key Stage 1 Teacher (3 days per week)

Start Date: September 2024

Location: Burnley Area, Primary School

School: An esteemed Primary School in the bustling Burnley area is seeking a dedicated and passionate Key Stage 1 Teacher to join their team on a part-time basis, working 3 days per week starting in September 2024. Renowned for its commitment to excellence and inclusive ethos, this school offers a supportive environment where both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced educators can thrive.

Role Overview:

  • Position: Part-time Key Stage 1 Teacher (3 days per week)
  • Start Date: September 2024
  • Contract Type: Part-time, Permanent

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum, tailored to the needs and interests of students.
  • Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that fosters a love for learning and supports children's social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues to ensure continuity and consistency in teaching and learning across the Key Stage 1 phase.
  • Engage with parents/carers to provide regular updates on students' progress and well-being.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience or a strong interest in teaching Key Stage 1.
  • Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced educators are welcome to apply.
  • A passion for working with young children and a commitment to providing high-quality education that meets the diverse needs of all learners.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
