Job description
We are seeking a talented Teaching Assistant to make a difference in the lives of students with diverse learning needs. If you have experience working with children on a 1:1 basis and are confident in communication, we want to hear from you!
The Role
- Providing 1:1 support to students with SEND, ensuring they receive personalised attention and assistance
- Collaborating with the classroom teacher and other support staff to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Assisting students with sensory or speech impairments in accessing the curriculum and participating in classroom activities.
- Monitoring and recording student progress and behaviour, and reporting any concerns or observations to the classroom teacher or SENDCO
You
- An Enhanced DBS check, demonstrating suitability to work with children and young people.
- Previous experience working within a school setting, preferably with children on a 1:1 basis
- A relevant teaching qualification, demonstrating your knowledge of effective teaching practices.

This is an all-age special school that caters to up to 310 pupils aged between 3 and 19. The school focuses on providing education for students with a range of learning difficulties, including MLD, SLD, Autism, and PMLD.
