Job description
Teaching Assistant required in an excellent primary school in Manchester. This role is to start as soon as possible and is to support a child in Reception Class. The Teaching Assistant is required full-time until the end of the academic year.
Can you support a child with additional needs in their academic and social development? Do you have a nurturing and encouraging personality? This Teaching Assistant role is required to start as soon as possible, and while working on a 1:1 basis for periods of the day, you will also be required to support across the class with general TA activities:
- Lead small groups in Reading, Writing and Maths
- Carry out Phonics interventions with individuals and groups
- Prepare resources for lessons
- Make and record assessments
- Manage behaviour within the classroom and outdoor areas
- Follow and contribute to EHCPs
Essential requirements:
- DBS on the update service
- 2 years professional references
- Full CV history
