Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with Teaching Aspirations?
Are you a recent Graduate, eager to gain experience in schools ahead of completing your Teacher Training?
LTF Recruitment are partnering with a fantastic, Primary School in Islington who are currently looking for a Teaching Assistant to support in their Year 1 Class starting after the May Half-Term, working with pupils carrying out interventions, as well as providing general class support to the Class Teacher.
The role:
- Assisting the teacher in delivering work with the children in the class
Supporting children with their classwork, and their reading and writing skills- Planning and leading targeted interventions to support pupils in development areas
- Developing curricular knowledge as required by the school
- Undertaking observations of pupils and contributing to pupil records
- Supporting the class teacher with the general management and supervision of the classroom
Essential requirements:
- No experience needed. Perfect opportunity to earn and progress.
- A passion for working with children.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy, patience, and a compassionate approach to supporting children.
