Our students have a range of needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), complex needs, and various other associated needs. Position Available: SEN Teacher Location: [Insert Location] Salary: Up to UPS plus SEN allowance (TLR available if needed)
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of students with SEN
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and well-being
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student support
- Implement strategies and interventions to address the diverse needs of students and promote their academic and social development
Requirements:
- Experience working with students with SEN, including ASC, ADHD, and complex needs
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) (desirable)
- Passion for making a positive impact on the lives of students with diverse needs
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
