Job description
We are currently working with an exceptional SEND Primary School located in Worthing, looking for a full-time SEND Teaching Assistant.
You will work under the direction and guidance of the class teacher or a HLTA/associate teacher/senior staff, and within an agreed system of supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Providing educational and personal support to children with learning, social and communication, physical,medical, sensory and/or behavioural difficulties and needs, both in and out of school within the school day.
Small group work and intervention support responsibilities
1:1 support for special needs and lower ability pupils
Requirements:
- We are looking for candidates with recent SEND experience working with children in schools who are available full-time to start ASAP!
- This role would also be suitable for Graduates or people looking to start a career within Special Education.
