Within the role you will be required to: Support and enthuse young learners to reach their potential through an interactive and engaging approach Work with small groups for reading, writing, and other subjects which contribute to life skills and independence Feedback to the class teacher on progress made and next steps Skills and attributes: Full training is provided, and you will be supported to gain qualifications for your own career progression Have empathy, patience, and the drive to make a difference An observant and responsive approach combined with a positive, energetic and enthusiastic attitude You will be required to apply for a DBS if you don't already have clearance.

As a Cover Supervisor, you'll be at the forefront of managing various lessons and maintaining a positive learning atmosphere for our students. Contribute to the overall positive atmosphere within the school, promoting a love for learning. The school provides a safe, positive, stimulating, and challenging learning environment where pupil's needs are identified, and met, and progress and achievement are recognised and celebrated.
You will be implementing strategies and interventions to support student's development, including the use of visual aids and assistive technologies. Previous experience working within a school setting, preferably with children on a 1:1 basis A relevant teaching qualification, demonstrating your knowledge of effective teaching practices. The school has a strong focus on pupil behaviour and encourages children to be respectful, responsible, and kind to others.
